USA SOFTBALL AGE CHART

The USA Softball Age Chart for the season STARTING on September 1, 2026 and ENDING on August 31, 2027 is below.

Notes on Age/Divisions:

• To determine league age, find your child's birth month and year in the grid and then look to the "AGE" column to the right. For example, a player born in February of 2017 would be league age 9.
• Players born after September 1, 2019, would be league age 6 or under and would be assigned to 6U.  However, 6 year olds with a year of 6U experience can ask to "play up" at the 8U level, if parents/guardians feel the player is ready. These requests should be made at the time of registration and your player should plan on attending 8U evaluations to determine that is is safe for them to play at the higher division. 
• Any player wishing to move up a division earlier than age dictates, should reach out to us or add a comment to the registration. The player should show up to evaluations so that the Board of Directors  can determine that it is safe to do so.
